What the cabinet has

Tools for everyday production and stock accounting.

Nomenclature

Profiles, glass, hardware, materials and finished goods with codes, barcodes, units of measure and groups.

Warehouses and lengths

Stock for every warehouse, and profiles counted per bar and offcut length, with the total length in metres.

Stock documents

Receipts, issues, write-offs, transfers and adjustments. Stock changes only with a posted document, and every movement can be traced.

Production

Materials go out and goods come in with one document, and the cost is worked out from the last purchase prices.

Team and roles

The storekeeper, managers and the owner see only their part. Access can be limited to some warehouses.

Selling when you want it

Switch selling on mitla.shop on in the settings: items of the nomenclature become products, and orders take stock out by themselves.

How to start

The cabinet opens right after the application.

    Sign up

    Create a Mitla account or sign in to the one you have.

    Create the company cabinet

    In the application choose «Stock accounting only» and enter the name, contacts and town. No review is needed.

    Fill in the nomenclature

    Add the items you buy, keep and make, and sort them into groups.

    Enter your stock

    An «Opening balance» document brings in the stock you have. From then on every receipt, issue or production run is a document of its own.

Good to know

Do I have to sell on Mitla?
No. Stock accounting works on its own. Selling on mitla.shop can be switched on later in the settings, after a moderator's review.
Is the company reviewed?
Not for stock accounting: the cabinet opens at once. A review is needed only for selling on mitla.shop.
How do I keep profiles as bars?
Switch length tracking on for the item: each length is counted separately, and offcuts after cutting come back to stock as lengths of their own.
Can a team work in it?
Yes. Add people by email and give them roles, for example «Storekeeper». Access can be limited to some warehouses.
Do buyers see my stock?
No. Buyers see only the products you put on sale on mitla.shop yourself.
How many warehouses can I keep?
As many as you need: the main warehouse is there from the start, others are added in the settings.
